@edfloreshz@hachyderm.io I actually just figured it out! Thanks for the offer though! I believe I wasn't setting up the LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly. But just complain about things on the internet and boom, you'll figure it out or some kind and thoughtful stranger will help. Haha

I've been using literally the worst time ever trying to package my #rust #libcosmic app on #flatpak. There are tons of examples and things, but I had to go and make things harder by depending on #mupdf-rs which are rust bindings to #mupdf which is a C library for rendering PDFs. I can't get #mupdf-rs to build to save my life. 🙎‍♂️

@musicmatze@social.linux.pizza just gonna put this out there, and you don't have to even care one bit, but iced is really quite nice. I have been using system76's fork called libcosmic, been a great experience.

Just spent the last several days eliminating nearly 400 lint issues that clippy found in my rust project. Then built several tests that help me catch several of the bugs I found during the process and now have a CI step that denies on linting issues so that I have motivation to not let these get so bad. Holy moly tho, #clippy with pedantic, nursery, and perf lints all on sure finds a LOT of issues. #rust development sure is crazy fun though!

Been working all day on eliminating the 200+ lint issues that #clippy finds in a personal rust project. Honestly, just like the compiler, it's been a useful learning experience. #rust
