@swan_tower@wandering.shop Of the many, many pieces of fiction I've ever read, the unpublishable "Embers", by Vathara, is my all-time favorite. It's fan-fiction, so copyright gets in the way of a proper book form of it, but I love the research and history that inspired the various plot points
