I write all of this as I work on my employers captcha setup which barely does anything to stop the flood of spam and general crap we deal with. I ran a couple of google searches for reCAPTCHA info and captcha solvers had higher rank in the results than googles own service. So that’s cool

btw, reCAPTCHA is no longer free (*) to use beyond 10k requests a month, so any large company is actually paying for the privilege of helping you be tracked.

Earlier today I needed to fix the serpentine belt on our tractor. I couldn’t get it right so I tried to search for a diagram of it on the interwebs. The first - no exaggeration - entire page of search results was all AI slop farms, and all of them had a popup that you could dismiss but would keep opening up if you tried to scroll down. If you click on the popup it sends you to a malware site. Every single one of them.

So unfortunately blocking zeitgeist.blue won't (I think) do anything here. Blocking a user of the app might actually be the only way to deal with this.
