Setting up a computer (more details to come) but for right now I wanted to point out that for whatever reason, this machine doesn't like SD cards when used with a SD to CF card adapter. Every time fdisk tried to format the drive, it'd have issues. But my 16GB CF card? Works perfectly fine. I wish I could get higher capacity CF cards for cheap.#retrocomputing
So, I'm in the process of setting up my desk and I currently have four desktops set up (main daily custom build, NEC PowerMate VP75 (DOS), "Pizza Box" Win98SE build, and a PowerMac G4. All but the NEC have built in USB. Ideally, I wanted to use one keyboard and one mouse to control all four computers, so I figured I'd pick up a PS/2 KVM that supports up to 4 devices. And I figured I'd use a PS/2 to USB adapter for the PowerMac.(1/3)
Not in a million years would I ever thought I'd be saying this, but the NEW Bubsy game looks great!!!! https://youtu.be/H4bq6P8e5gk?si=wm0CLmJ-GuwPiepR
Someone once asked me why I knock on doors the way I do. Blame Lego Indiana Jones The Original Adventures. Later I'd learn it's called two cuts and a shave from some old barbershop song.
You can listen to it here in this short (sorry, couldn't find a better version in non-short form but I also no longer have the game myself to record a clip) https://youtube.com/shorts/miZxuiHbthg?si=31wvPbDtZop3d7ir
