Achieved a recent goal of finding a way to manage infra that doesn't need k8s without k8s.
clan.lol is the best combo of nix, sops and mesh VPN that lets me manage Hetzner and my stack of dumpster dived HP ProDesks.
I have a new clan of refurbished hardware running my services and I'm kinda proud

I would like to see 0 billionaires in the UK, but the only sector which works right now, and has massive influence over British politics, is the financial services sector. I’m just pragmatic, in 2008, who footed the bill for the European banks’ risky investments? The financiers? No, the European taxpayer.

For 1.4 million asylum seekers, the UK pays £5.4 billion pounds yearly. Now, we expect that number of migrants to ten-fold in the next 50 years due to climate migration. Do the math and extrapolate.

If I help you escape a war zone or political persecution until your country is stable again, yes, I think it’s reasonable to expect some level of contribution as a “cheers mate, you did me a solid one there”.
Otherwise, what you’re saying is that you’re ok for the taxpayer to endlessly sustain this system that, while noble and humane, is a burning money pit

Steam is there to capture the gamer base, we need to co-opt this movement to get people off Microsoft products.
I’ve been yapping about how Microsoft is probably one of the most complicit tech company on the BDS list, but that rarely resonates with people.
