@netbsd@mastodon.sdf.org I'd love to see some of that used for WiFi and GPU improvement projects. Using NetBSD on even not-so-modern hardware is becoming painful.

@netbsd@mastodon.sdf.org I can boot NetBSD on my desktop PC of course but my Radeon RX 6600 doesn't get a working driver so only software rendering is available. I bought 4 GPUs (even old ones) and couldn't get NetBSD to output my screen's 1440p resolution properly:
- RX 6600
- HD 8570
- HD 7450
- HD 6670
I have a ThinkPad T480 and WiFi there rarely works and when it does, I can't get more than 54mbps. See kern/59922 - it was much better on 10.0
So yes. It is painful. And I do appreciate all the hard work.
