i have a feeling that everyone who is arguing about LLMs in the sense of stuff like productivity, quality of the output, performance or functionality of generated code, largely even licensing or whatn

@q66 for me there’s a sort of, idk feedback loop? between the quality/productivity aspect and the ethical aspect.
like: even if these were sufficiently ethical, they’re not actually any good at what they’re supposed to be good at, so why bother?
and even if they were actually effective and useful tools, they’re completely unethical and so unusable.
can’t escape from either side.
