Busy, busy, super satisfying weekend concluded.
Friday night: karate black belt prep cycle test completed and passed. Deemed ready to attend black belt grading in September. Two day grading test.
Saturday: Karate class catchup because missed Wednesday’s. Sore after Friday nights test. Then other assorted house chores.
Sunday: All day training for #nswrfs Wildfile Behaviour qualification. Intense theory and tricky practical skills to master for testing in a couple of weeks.
It’s going to be a busy term.
In this evening's exciting episode of "Strata Law shitfuckery". A committee member was excluded from voting and lost her place on the committee because her status was not "financial". Some clerical balls-up somewhere meant she was 2c in arrears on her strata levies.
For her to join the strata committee once she has paid the 2c she owes, we need to run a special general meeting. Which means the Strata Manager has to do work which they will change the Body Corp for.
Crooks, the lot of them.

I am on hold.
Porting a mobile service to a new provider. The request failed. The device owner received an unhelpful message stating that it failed and to contact the new provider.
I have a hunch that the Australian mobile provider porting system backend is not designed to allow customers to move between service providers easily. #tpoasiwid.

@itgrrl@infosec.exchange Aussie Broadband. Slightly more pricey than others but rock solid performance and availability. Support teams are also excellent, well trained and helpful. They also seem to be trained to recognise when the caller is tech literate. They also have an unofficial Discord which you can talk directly to their network team via. Has helped me isolate and resolve a couple of funky corner cases.

At the movies to see new Mario movie. These were sitting on the ticket counter. I asked how to get them and the lovely person just gave them to me!
Having a livestream from the Orion flight deck on my phone screen is just so amazeballs. Watching the crew record some of their activities on their own handheld devices is also very wild. We are in for a real audio/visual treat with this #ArtemisII mission.
