@Gequeoman@nrw.social @chrisstoecker@mastodon.social Das ist eine sehr interessante Frage, finde ich, und zwar bei fast allem. Wenn man sich die geballte Menge an Unsinn anschaut der da kommt, dann endet man sehr oft bei der Frage: „Sind die so dumm? Oder lügt man mich mal wieder an?“
Keine der Optionen macht Lust auf mehr. Das ist mein Kernproblem mit den sog. Konservativen.

@vger @Lilith Ich verstehe die Kritik ebenfalls nach wie vor nicht. Was wir in dieser Gesellschaft am dringendsten brauchen ist mehr know how im Bereich IT - zu diesem Zeitpunkt fast egal was genau, wir sind verzweifelt genug.
Und das muss aus der Gesellschaft kommen und sich da drin verzweigen - alles andere funktioniert nicht, wie wir seit 30 Jahren sehen. (1/2)

Jede Beschäftigung mit diesen Fragen - durch die Leute direkt, oder via Kinder/Bekannte/Freunde/Kollegen/etc, die gerade vom #DIDay kommen, hilft! Das ist ein long game, und man muss halt mal anfangen mit der Sache. Rettung durch „einzelne Entitäten müssten halt mal das Richtige tun!“ funktioniert nachweislich nicht. (2/2)

@markus_falk @notsoloud @Vonskinnback @randahl The US has an even more special position in this regard, at least for now: the Dollar being the de-facto world currency means that you can issue debt (print money) like there’s no tomorrow, because Dollar debt used to be a desirable (and tradable) asset. Which the US has been living off for decades, at this point.
