@nullagent@partyon.xyz best course of action imo is to wrap communications in an encrypted tunnel which is what you should do when using something like zerotier which is even recommended by the creator(s). seems odd you can spoof like this...

@sterophonick@wetdry.world @cooperq@infosec.exchange it is what? essentially an alert app where people can type in information into a form? there are much better options for backend and for security, encryption and basic security hygiene would be more than enough. Heck, a lot of apps are just the mobile version of the site. Also, should use EU services for servers since GDPR compliant ones can probably tell USA government to fuck off when asked for personal data.

The fact it is tied too much to apple infrastructure says enough to me how skilled or lack of this developer may or may not have.
