The gletschers are shrinking snow is less and very warm in winter plus a very dry year. There is simply less snow/ice /rainwater to fill the rivers.

Same with your "ban on plastic straws" celebration. The Earth is used by big industry to extract raw materials. Processing and using them : Earth is used as a dump. Without much consequences.
As long as you allow lobbyists to meet with politicians and your politicians are led by greed and power and fear of losing elections instead of the wellbeing of the people now and in the future nothing will change. Dont listen to lobbyists choose life, if you do you will do what is good for present and future generations.
