"Wilde said that the concept of "trusteeship over people" was adopted by Europeans for colonial rule over Africa at the Berlin Conference in the late 19th century; by the League of Nations after the First World War for the Mandate territories, including the Mandate in Palestine; and by the UN after World War Two for the Trust Territories and all other non-settler-colonies.

American "leftists" can't help themselves can they: who cares about imperialism, international solidarity. the global proletariat, the millions killed yearly by Neo-colonialist policies being imposed, never mind the ones directly bombed that's all acceptable as long as I get healthcare and "better" housing they don't oppose capitalism or the international order as it stands just want their "fair" share of the spoils of the system.
