Having to go through the list of people I follow on this masto.ai account manually, and issue a manual follow where needed on the new elderlogs.net account.
Painstaking process, because some accounts are dead, some servers aren't federated yet, some accounts aren't found but another "like it" (it's the same account) IS found, and so on.
About halfway through my list so far, just another 141 to manually check again.

Ok, so the new #Mastodon instance is nearly ready for its trial run. I'll likely try and run this account and it in parallel for a week or so, just to be sure everything's running ok, before making the jump over.
You may see a follow/follow request from the new account prior to the full move in the New Year, mainly to help federation and fill up my timeline on the new instance.

Soooo, I upgraded my vps to have double the ram and storage space. I decided, rather than making do with something that wasn't going to have all the features I wanted, I'd upgrade and just go with a full single-user Mastodon instance.
