Oh, it's being very productive. Not sure how the flavour stacks up for a true aficionado, but my Afghani friend was very appreciative when I gave her a handful. I heard it slowed down a lot, but got repotted and had a good prune and did much better the last 2 summers.

My sister overwinters a chilli plant indoors in an area where the summers are hot, but the late frosts and the early frosts can sometimes only be separated by a month or so. It's well over 10 years old now.

Are the people annoying you in the slack those who are actively doing the work of the org or even representative of the membership as a whole?
The whole point of the membership drive was to stop a coordinated group who I genuinely do not believe represent the desires of the majority of internet users in the country, take over decision making for their own racist ends. If they can drive you away from voting by dominating the slack discussion they win.
Edit to emphasise that it's the vote that determines who gets to make decisions about what inz does, not the loudest voices on the slack.channel.

I used to be involved in an NGO which invited people to express an interest in standing and vetted them and there was only ever one candidate per position and it was gross. I have a reluctance to see inz endorsing candidates.
We do need to get better at acknowledging single transferrable votes limitation for a multi position election and get tactical. Last time FSU was fucking that up a bit for a while too with their split vote advice, I don't think we can expect it again.
