@MLE_online@social.afront.org I have found this in a couple of non-healthcare areas. When you follow the thread up the chain, that isn't what it said...or worse, the citation dies because the citation has nothing to do with the sentence making the claim. In one case, I was not getting test results consistent with the results expected in the paper I was using. So, I was forced to go up the chain. At the last citation in the chain, the referenced paper had nothing to do with the sentence in the citation. I can't believe it was peer reviewed.

@s0@cathode.church There's a butterfly-wind you can do with your hand and elbow that allows you to do this really, really fast. I learned this some 55 years ago and used it for about ten years while I worked in the broadcast industry. Don't ask me to do it today.

And even then, for a short period of time. IF I could find drinkable water. IF I wasn't in an area without vegetation. IF.... I wouldn't even need a flat rock.

@karlhigley@recsys.social Maybe it is time to adjust society to accommodate the neurodivergent people instead of the other way around. We need to examine to maximize their value and not lower their value to accommodate societal comfort. There are a number of conditions that are being called 'disease' that a simply divergence from being put into a pigeon hole.
