So I have a day off work tomorrow and a day in London planned with a trip to the cinema at the end !!
I'm pretty excited as I don't get to have a "me" day very often but despite knowing I have "A day in London" I actually have very little idea what to do !!
I'll be mostly around the Southbank (my fave area and since I'm going to the BFI Imax later it seems appropriate)
I plan to visit London Fossils and Crystals down from Waterloo. (cos I collect fossils and minerals!) but other than that I have several hours to kill.
I don't even know where to eat :D hehe
I don't want to just default to a cr*ppy high street burger from the usual "Kentucky McKings" etc ;) but I also don't want a full blown restaurant meal.
Was thinking Giraffe or Wahaca for lunch.
But I imagine overwhelm will be an issue so I'll need some space where I can sit, relax and watch the world go past.
perhaps even I'll fit in a little retail therapy from the Bookshops and BFI store when I'm there.
However if anyone has ideas? let me know.

The fact that we've never been able to detect any extraterrestrial life out there is down to the theoretical "Great Filter" but I suspect rather than filtering out war-like species or species with a particular level of technology.. I propose that some technologically advanced species is destroying systems where the inhabitants have discovered Marmite or Marmite like substances.
Just like every species has its own variation of Gin and Tonics (jynnan tonnyx, gee-N'N-T'N-ix, or jinond-o-nicks) I calculate that at some point in a species development they become self destructive and invent a Marmite analogue and this is seen as an affront to the universe and must be erased.
Nature may abhor a vacuum but the universe really hates Marmite.
