Im a little less eager to prioritize learning "integrating ai" in my studies because I expect these huge datacenter llms to basically stop existing within like a year or two and leave us with a lot of smaller more efficient self-hostable ones so that'll be a whole new thing to learn anyway. I'm living in the future, not the past. I will brush up on nvidia-docker

I wonder if litigation around os age verification and foss OSes (especially the more raw arch/gentoo crowd) could lead to a distinction of "operating system" vs mere "operating system components" that another party must assemble to be considered an operating system legally, with much of the linux space considered part of the latter

@malwaretech i am piecing together this little nas thing and for the case i got this little lock box people use to store their valuables, and i wrote "no cash inside. this is a computer server" on the top to dissuade ne'er-do-wells from breaking into it, and maybe i should cover that up actually
