The main character is a rich educated white guy who is confidently getting out of his league and constantly being shown up by rural folks and his own airhead wife. He's probably meant to be sympathetic.
Also the voice of the Sheriff of Nottingham plays a side character that's a likeable grifter.

I've had my eye on anarchism but haven't had the spoons to look much into it but I think I'm coming around; if there isn't a compelling reason for someone to be in charge then there shouldn't be somebody in charge
and I don't know of this is part of it but imo the primary goal of someone being put in charge of something is to find the best way to not need somebody in charge of that anymore

another reason I like belts over any other transport: they're easy to back up and thus load balance until saturated, so I can overproduce multiple things based on input and they'll all eventually get to max capacity if not being 100% used
the way a train seems to be setup it's like a sushi belt where excess product gets sunk at the end, so it never has a chance to auto load balance at the source
it's taking a huge chunk of the first aluminum production plant to make infused frames, with not much left over for alclad sheets if left like that. I wouldn't worry normally yet because eventually infused frames would back up and excess aluminum would go back to full sheet production, but since it's planned to be sent by train it'll never back up

I briefly tried the Experimental branch of #Satisfactory 1.2 from Steam on Linux, but it crashes on start. I suspect it might have something to do with the Satisfactory Mod Manager (even though I've disabled mods from inside it, deleted the /FactoryGame/Mods folder, and verified integrity of files from Steam)
Switching back to stable branch now. I wish it kept the old files so I wouldn't have to wait another 25 minutes to re-download 7.6gb of files I already had an hour ago.

Steam just crashed when I launched #Satisfactory and tried to log on to my server because it's low on memory? I have 28gb of system memory (32 minus 4 for shared video), less than 4 of which was in use before launching steam and less than 8 is in use after the game is running and connected.
Just a weird one-off observation, if it happens again I might look for help. But no assistance needed yet.
