Damn it. I thought I figured things out with the Grandfather but I was wrong on the year of his birth. So the document I found online is the wrong William / Willie. And there are no people with my last name born in Quebec in that year. (Oh he was definitely born in St. Paul de Chester, Quebec. I just can't find anything that lines up.
Too many dang Williams in Canada with my last name in the 1800's.
So back to square one on tracking down documentation. The good news is I have my Dad's birth certificate and marriage license scanned. So that is half the battle there on tracing my ancestry back.

It's the 40 year anniversary of the #Chernobyl disaster. If you understand even a bit of how radioactivity decay works, this show should be the scariest movie ever made. I still believe that nuclear power is a valid type of power but there are about 100 qualifying asterisks behind that statement. You can't just put it in place and then ignore it. You also need to be ever vigilant about its redundancy systems and frankly continued research to make it better. Most of the spent fuel could be used again but isn't because we don't have breeder reactors.

-I forgot my work password due to making about 12 passwords last night for my ProxMox cluster. (The way I manage passwords is.... complex and unique but leads to confusion)
-I tried to change the password, too similar to prior so did something more complex. Forgot to hit save on password safe.
-locked computer to step away. Came back. Didn't have password.
-Couldn't change password again because of security.
-had IT set a temp password.
-logged back in and wrote the damn thing down for now.
-Took a drink of water from my glass.....had the small bandage on my nose from where the mole was removed this morning fall off and almost swallowed it.
Ps - And yes normally I dont write down passwords. But for today im making an exception. Keeping it in my pocket
