@Sheril I don’t think it is an either-or. There are multiple ways humans can potentially destroy the current civilisation at the very least. And then there are natural threats … Yes, I’m a well-known joy germ at work, too 🤣

@simonzerafa@infosec.exchange @bradl@mstdn.social annoyingly, I can't spot it on my shelves at present; but lest you think it apocryphal, I recalled enough to get the book details: Malcolm, W. G. (1975). _Number and structure_. Reed. An NZ publication, though not totally obscure as I see it cited in the _Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy_ in the article about A. N. Pryor. The text is quite short, and it's clear the cuteness arises from a desire to use every letter in the alphabet. I wish I could remember them all!
