@Techaltar@mas.to There's the important distinction: not selling user data is required to have privacy, but it's certainly not sufficient to truly provide it.

@njoseph @markush haha no, just much more regulated. The post creator didn't go into detail, but there might have been a good (e.g. economical) reason that lead to and could have allowed this. Also, even though they were fired, the employer typically still has to abide by the contract cancellation deadlines (which is at least 1 month).

@zerforschung@chaos.social Schrecklich :O... Und wenn's nach der Bundesregierung geht, war das bereits strafbar, weil man die API in einer Art und Weise benutzt hat, die "nicht so vorgesehen war". Alles einfach nur schrecklich.
