but as much effort as you can into math. There is the common trope about it being useless and that is I think due to peoples misunderstanding of it. Math is mental abstraction. Math problems are like excersise. No on complains push ups have not real world value. Its understood that doing them gets your body in better shape to do physical things. Similarly math helps your mind be in better shape to do mental things. Unfortunately you don’t really do it after you are no longer in school so its not bad to try and use it whenever you can. Add your purchases up in your head and try and figure out price per quantity and compare products. do suduko. Also grab elementary logic if you can as it gives a math like framework for reason.

I mean the current administration rode on a wave of conspiracy types os im not sure the conspiracies have been vindicated. Sorta feels the opposite in some ways. Its possible that it could be good in theory but I have never encountered it being done well in practice. Just so you know though, and maybe its just my area, but I thought public schools were required to make available various things from school like sports and clubs to homeschoolers so they need not be socially isolated when homeschooling.

I mean not the last time but as I look back over my life there is this point in time where my wife and I lived in the city in a neighborhood just out city center in a two flat. I worked at a research university and while the pay was low it had benefits and we could pay our monthly nut. It was 3 miles away and I could walk, bike, or take the bus. I would often walk in the morning and my wife would take the dog and there was this park about a mile or so away and we would have a little kiss goodbye and I would keep going to work while she walked the dog through the park and back home. We could spur of the moment grab food from close by places or any grocery item we wanted by walking. It was glorious. The lab I worked in was a research lab and interesting as heck on a day to day basis and collaborated globally. We had folks from japan practically every other summer doing research as well as many eurpean companies. Oh also my wife and I were barely in our thirties. it was sweet.

Reside, vacation, party.

So was thinking about doing a location based version of marry, fuck, kill. Three locations. One you would like to live in, one you would like to visit on vacation and one you would like to party down in. For the purposes of this don’t worry about language or politics or affordability. More about weather, infrastructure, beuty, etc. For me toronto to live in because im a city boy and like the thought of being able to take my dog with me on transit (if that is still a thing), vacation is tokyo and partially (if money is no object) to go to that ultra ritzy onsen. Party wise im tempted by new orleans which I have been too but im watching global fireworks and Bangkok looked amazing with the 20 story high buddha. I think though I have to go with amsterdam which also spreads out my choices nicely globally.

If your talking full degrees im not sure I would have gotten one if I had been ten years younger even after high school. The cost/return is iffy. Certs and associates still seem like they can be worth it and if you can get a free ride well then yeah. I don’t think general age matters as much as financial situation.

I dunno. Maybe people are more honest and real. I have a story from my youth. A friend and I put in singles ads in the local paper. Whelp I tend to be a pretty honest and straight forward person so my ad said things like I don’t really excersise but I like doing active things like walking. With his he was putting his best foot forward which to be honest, to me, was pretty much B Sing. So I got a response and he did not and his response was like. How did you get a response. Your add is like hey im fat and lazy. Now that is certainly not what my ad said but to his mind it was. To admit any basic human frailty was to be the worst possible interpretation anyone can make of it. Basically maga level. Of course I think @hades@feddit.uk has a point that people who are catches, good looks and/or great personality and such, likely have an easier time finding relationships

I mean I can’t remember specific occasions but yeah im sure dicks and assholes have helped me. They can still be dickish or such when helping but sometimes its their job or they begrudgingly do it and like your experience sometimes in certain situations they can do things without being dicks for awhile. It does not make them in general nicer persons but does show they have the capacity if they felt like being nicer in general.

ukraine like it or not is the underdog but with some big indirect backing that has been very tepid in committing. The fact the war is still going with little real progess by the invader in this situation is amazing. Praising balls in this type of situation is common. Im a big right to die person and so wish robust right to die laws were common. I would love to be able to make a doc to say give me an overdoes of barbituates rather than just let me suffer until I expire. I have had to put down animals and while married. Mostly my wife and I discuss the animals quality of life. It comes down to if we would rather be put down or live in their situation. Dogs are not that different for us and we evolved with similar desires. I believe we can make the call. Now granted my dog lived with a lot of issues before being put down and dogs are so generally willing to show happiness that it was way passed time were we would want to be put down. Part of its just hard. We don’t want to do it and its incredibly painful for us. The survivors. This is why we discuss so that don’t let her suffer to much. It makes us come to terms with her reality. Ok. gonna go cry now.

I hate having to remember new things and as far as organizations and places go the name changes have been for corporate advertising or just inferior to what was before. I found most people in the right situation on the right topic can be knowledgeable or insightful even if they are sorta assholes in general. I mean there are other people I know who are so often knowledgeable and useful that your like woa. Even this person does not know what to do in the rare case they don’t or can’t add something useful.

Ill agree with you on the direction of porn. One guy I think summed it up in that much of it seems like a lot has to do with titles. you search for big boobed blonde getting fucked hard and you see the same video with mother son titles as well as dad daughter and brother sister. So basically they make a porn and then market it in several ways. granted that does not work for more out there sex act kinks. I brought up how you will have these little but and cheek slaps that I can do without but they seem to through it in a lot and you don’t really know its part of it till its far into it. Call me old fashioned but I like a traditional gal taking it in three holes simultaneously. You know. Boring old porn. Ok. On to my hardest addiction. Soda, cola, pop, etc. Carbonated sugar water with caffeine. I have stopped a few times but it does not take much stress or such to have me back on it.

Not bad although the way things are I would say don’t have kids unless your wealth can support it. Also the more you save the less you will need to know your stuff down to the penny. Personally I would say be careful about getting into an investor mindset which can lead you to things that are more like gambling and realize often times its about not losing money.
