I think it's time for the media to stop using the term 'prediction markets' and start calling them 'book makers' instead.

After playing a bit more I'm gonna say I actually quite like Thick as Thieves. I'm revising my elevator pitch from 'Baby's First Thief' to 'Thief: Arcade.'

There's a time pressure in the actual missions that, paired with the randomization of key loot locations, adds a surprising amount of difficulty, even on the base difficulty level.

But I do genuinely wish they'd kept PvP as an option for the multiplayer.

Initial impressions of Thick as Thieves after playing through the tutorial: it's alright, especially for the five bucks it's going for right now. It's kind of 'babies first Thief game,' but I can see some potential. It's still very much showing the PvPvE roots, enough so that I really wish I could play that version.

Because Dusk doesn't yet support the Wii Twilight Princess ISO I decided to just pay TP through Dolphin for a bit. The other day tried just mapping OG Steam Controller gyro and buttons to Wiimote and nunchuk waggle, but it was not a great experience. Tried pairing my actual Wiimote+nunchuk via bluetooth and it worked right out of the box on Bazzite. Steam even pops up a 'Controller Connected: Wii Remote' message, and the battery life indicator is there and everything. Pretty cool.

Ah, boo. Dusk only works with the GameCube iso. Went and dug up my Wii to rip my Wii copy of Twilight Princess for nothing...

Got the Prey Luma mod working, so I think a replay of Prey is in the cards. And maybe I'll actually finish Mooncrash this time.

@jplebreton if anything could make me believe that 'neuro-linguistic programming' is actually real it's the way that becoming a billionaire or apparently spending any significant amount of time rubbing elbows with billionaires turns otherwise intelligent peoples' brains into useless mush.
