@boelder Thank you. We knew she wouldn't live forever but we selfishly wanted her to have one more summer. But animals don't think like that. It's such a blessing knowing that they live by what they feel when they feel it. Moment by moment.
She gave us 19 1/2 beautiful years. We had her since she was a kitten when she came to us with the name Dolly. Yesterday, Bronco told us it was time to say goodbye. The house is empty. The windows still have nose prints and the blinds are still open at the bottom with her chair by one of her many favourite windows she used to chase the sun every day. She will be forever with us in our hearts and her well loved life is still scattered everywhere. #Grief #Catsofmastodon
You learn things about people when they pass away. My mil had such a romantic and dreamy side to her. Found a tiny angel pinned to a bra and lucky pennies that had descriptions about the luck they found after. I hope to leave some surprises about me for loved ones to find. #bereavement #grief #dying
