Chesterfield was new to me. My grandmother called it a Davenport. I call it a couch.
Speaking of names. I grew up with Coke/Pepsi/etc., and it was called pop. Soda was always meant to be soda water. The first time I heard someone say, "Do you want a soda?” and handed me a Dr. Pepper, I was taken aback.
All these regional things.
(yes, I'm trying to keep my mind off the news…)

I'm not much of a gamer these days, but I do enjoy simple, fun, quick games. I found 100 Jumps, This is a surprisingly fun and frustrating game. I still haven't made all 100 yet. I'm not giving up! You really want to work on getting perfect jumps. Every time you get three in a row, you get an extra life.

Not super happy with this shot. The concept in my head was much better than the picture I got. I took about 12 shots trying to get the right angle and exposure.
I needed my main camera to shoot two exposures, one for above ground and one for below, and combine them. As you can see, the upper portion is over-exposed. There are limits with an iPhone and walking a dog!

One airplane I always wanted to fly. Maybe in retirement, get checked out just for fun.
I have thousands of hours in the DHC-6 (Twin Otter), which is still my favorite aircraft. We flew it off-airport, bringing Salmon scientists to their Summer research areas, rafters to launch points, and building materials to cabin sites. Such a remarkable plane.
Here’s me at -40 keeping the otter warm while the mx folks were working on the Dew Line Station.
