Spent last week at Open Source Summit North America, mostly at the cdCon conference.

It was my second time, and the presentations were much more relatable after 2 more years working in the CI/CD domain.

Now I need to fight my jetlag. 😅

Thanks to the prior work of Google folks, my recent LLVM contribution added support for GoogleTest macros ASSERT_TRUE/ASSERT_FALSE to bugprone-unchecked-optional-access clang-tidy check.

This should address a big portion of typical false-positives in test code with optional types.

My first ever talk at #FOSDEM ✅ It was very exciting, though a bit stressful, to deliver my talk to a big room full of Go developers. Because of the nerves, I talked faster than I planned, but I didn't forget anything I wanted to share, which is good! Thanks to everyone who attended my talk and shared their feedback afterwards! For me this patch is special because I made a small contribution to it by implementing several simple meta functions. It was my first ever experience with GCC internals and I am really grateful for this opportunity to learn.
