  It's funny how long it can take sometimes to draw connections that are obvious in hindsight. I learnt the word 詰まり from Brand New Animal to mean clogged or packed, when a character was told off for having a bath in animal form since it'd clog the drain.   Stuff like this kind of annoys me, at the very premise. at "one kanji a day" I'd still not not know half of the 2,136 jouyoukanji And 2 minutes isn't enough, either. It took me about 15 minutes per kanji for initial familiarisation and reviews combined, for about 500 hours of kanji study all up.   Astonishingly with gyro and trackpad aiming combined, Quake III (which has no controller support) is shockingly playable with the Steam controller.
