  Tom Hanks production- "The American Experiment" 5 part docu-series on Netflix is a really good watch. It it is so even handed about the evolution of the war of independence up to the modern day that it is presented more in sorrow than in triumph. There is a "it should have worked out better" feel.   Scorchio! This super El Niño is frightening. It's an unpredictable cycle between 3 and 7 years. We have only just passed a solar maximum (an 11 year cycle) in 2025.   Using Google Maps AR "Live View" to augment GPS navigation (it recognises shop fronts and street landscapes) to give you a fine grain position is clever. My VW Golf GPS went home to Wolfsburg in the recent London thunderstorms but this new technology got me fixed just by taking a picture of a building I wonder if the #Russians regret letting Google into Moscow?
