Many years ago at Lockheed we developed a technology called "decision support system under stress". It was designed to share out targets between a fighter wing. #russia has discovered that air defence has similar problems - MANPAD operators all attack the same incoming drone - sometimes with disastrous results. Fixed installations do work but the air defence missiles deployed are many more times as expensive as the drone swarms they target. The new "treetop approach" drones are nearly impossible to safely intercept and apparently #ukraine is getting target intelligence from the USA. Now Russia has exhausted expensive hypersonic ballistic missiles on dubious value energy infrastructure with little lasting impact. Ukraine capabilities can only get better and the results more obvious to Muscovites - it's time to negotiate
