  @FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com Again, I realize this is a bit much, I don't want to go on and on. Having said that, I feel a bit like I just hit the jackpot and I want to tell this to someone who gets it. I am used to using CM to copy from one machine to another. I just realized I can copy multiple clips like files in explorer. That is, I can shift+up and down to select contiguous clips, or I can ctrl+up and down, then hit space on the ones I want, to select specific clips in different places...

  @FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com @dandylover1@someplace.social not yet, just due to laziness and inertia. Keeping in mind also that I mainly use my phones as remote controls for the PC. Too much work, too little result, when it comes to mobile apps. I will give the iOS version a shot, though, it would be good to have on my main phone.

  I know this is talking about something people are already using, but Clipman, the clipboard manager and synchronizer by @FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com is just stunning. I'm sure people will say that it does nothing you couldn't do on your own, I mean I did the same with a clip.txt in a shared folder, but that's not the point.   @Bruce Because it's easier to attack the person than to defend a position, or even just to say nothing at all. Whenever the comment is about the person rather than the moral code, the discussion has to end just because it's pointless, it becomes an expression of emotion rather than a conversation. Personally, I don't see the point of expressing emotions, especially online.

  @Bruce @mcourcel It's not about Winnipeg specifically but I was surprised to read that it was more or less routine, even in the 20s and 30s, for people to faint from the heat in theaters, and the theaters had rooms in which people who overheated could go to vomit, and where they were expected to do that.   As usual, I bring the weird stuff to Masto, people know how to solve odd things here. I just installed #Vmware Workstation 17.6 on a #Windows10 #LTSC computer. I've done this before, and in fact done it quite often, but not on this unit. It usually just works. I have two problems, both for the first time in my experience. First, going through the menus is incredibly slow once the VM launches. #NVDA insists on speaking the item until it's done, it doesn't cut off as usual....
