  How can you tell if a book is abridged? I got a used copy of Moby Dick, and it’s only 420 pages long. A lot of other editions are twice that. It is 6x9 in, so bigger pages a paperback. Great Books of the Western World, Encyclopædia Britannica, University of Chicago, 1952. Which I’m realizing was 101 years after the original was published. Anyway, I decided to finally tackle this classic because my father read it recently and I want something to talk about next time I see him. #MobyDick

  The King in Yellow The Street of the First Shell Chambers manages to capture the horror of World War One. Except this was written twenty years before that, and instead about the Franco-Prussian War.   Scouring Sands Sortie 11 A rough match. We stormed the enemy base, but our King Crab, Fire Moth, and Blackjack went down to do it. We also lost too foot points of local troops who bravely helped locate the enemy thumpers. Great game.
