I need some interesting magic items to give my group. I must admit, Nimble’s sample magic items are very few and not the best. I want to give them some useful utility items that won’t break the game but will expand their options. #TTRPG #GMPrep #Nimble #NimbleRPG #DND #ADND #NSR #OSR #MagicItems #OutlawsOfTheNorth

@deinol@dice.camp I once did a "weekly bow challenge" that lasted about half a year before I ran out of ideas. Every week I'd think of a new magic bow or arrow. https://docs.google.com/document/d/19lDPGxOUD1ZKPwJiMeN8l7nBBWA6hA-7ZWf10xLhJOA/edit?usp=drivesdk

@deinol@dice.camp As far as expanding options, hard to beat the Traveler's Any-Tool: https://aonprd.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Traveler%27s%20Any-Tool There's potential beyond the obvious in the Campfire Bead, too: https://aonprd.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Campfire%20Bead As long as your group can actually agree how it works, the Talisman of the Disk from 3.5's Magic Item Compendium has potential too. (My DM's ruling is one disk at a time, up to 3 hours runtime per day in 10-minute increments.)

@deinol@dice.camp Some items my D&D group has enjoyed lately: - bag of ball bearings - broken orrery - giant pearl that is secretly an egg of some sort - food critic's notebook
