Fuck the ABS census. This is the only question that matters: HOW MANY CATS LIVE IN YOUR HOUSE? #census

This week's episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is completely fucking stupid and ridiculous and I legitimately loved every single second of it. #startrek

There's a section of road near my house that runs through a shopping precint. Because of this it's a 40km/h zone. However, because there's a school adjacent, it is a 40km/h zone 8am-9.30am & 2.30pm-4pm. There's also some long term council roadworks happening, so it's a 40km/h roadworks zone.

What The Guardian isn't telling us is David Penman is a fucking loony who quite literally threatens legal action against anyone who doesn't rate his shitty AirBNB 5 stars and doesn't leave a glowing review. The moron was also charged after he threatened and harassed someone who left a poor review on Google. He's also been harassing Hepburn Shire councillors for years, to the point they attempted to get an intervention order taken out against him. He's...

Interesting experience today. Ordered a couple products online from Direct Chemist Outlet for pickup at the local store. Received an email that said order received, we'll let you know when ready. Cool. 1pm and no email. I didn't expect it to be ready nor did they say it would be ready in a certain timeframe, however it was two small items they had stock of. I was going to the shops anyway, so rocked in to the pharmacy. Me: blah blah blah can I grab the order whilst I'm...

I've been sitting home all day waiting for a tradie who was supposed to be here between 8am and 12pm. It's now 4pm and I'm assuming they'll be a complete no-show. Booked a day of annual leave for this, which is now wasted. Angry emails are now being sent.

A work story: Last week I was on at a customer site performing some work. They were in a situation and I went out of my way to help them out, beyond the scope of what I'm required to do. Why? Because it wasn't a big deal, despite causing some mild inconvenience to me. Yesterday afternoon I was at the same customer site. Did what I needed to do, and before I left asked if I could use their gents. "No, sorry. Staff only." They'll never get anything out of me again, beyo...

Govt: We're making changes to the NDIS because it costs too much money. This will mean kicking some participants off the scheme whilst others will see a reduction in budgets, supports and services. Also Govt:

Due to my disability, I have a smart smoke detector at home. The unit needs replacing in about 12 months time. It would be a like-for-like replacement. Same product and just swap it out. The replacement cost is about $200. There is no change in my requirements or supports here. It's simply purchasing a piece of assistive technology that requires replacement for safety reasons. However, I've been told simply buying a replacement and swapping it is not permitted. Instead, I need...
