A work story:
Last week I was on at a customer site performing some work. They were in a situation and I went out of my way to help them out, beyond the scope of what I'm required to do. Why? Because it wasn't a big deal, despite causing some mild inconvenience to me.
Yesterday afternoon I was at the same customer site. Did what I needed to do, and before I left asked if I could use their gents.
"No, sorry. Staff only."
They'll never get anything out of me again, beyond what I'm required to do.

@andyb@mastodon.au That is so shit. I’ve had tradies come to my house and ask to use the bathroom when they finish a job (or sometimes, half way through), and I always say yes. We’re all human beings. I don’t expect you to piss yourself.
