  Two ~600kg BYD E6 batteries (almost) mounted to a frame. Hard work, good work. This is about 120-160kWh of storage total. The batteries are from ex-Singaporean taxis which had done about 250,000km before crashing (the cars, not the batteries). I've owned a couple and seen plenty of 400,000km taxis with over 80% SOH so I think these batteries are likely to be plenty better. The plan is coming together... #EV #BESS #ReduceReuse

  This is a sad example of why you can't trust corporates. Solar Zero's business model was a good one. But they took funding from vampires (blackrock) who demanded a very high growth rate to drive very high returns. When Solar Zero failed to keep up Blackrock pulled its money causing Solar Zero to collapse. Customers are now trapped in long contracts with some random company that has bought the wreckage.   KiCAD Why why why? Wiring a schematic, the wires don't snap onto the nearest component terminal. Researching, it seems you have to have set the grid to the correct size and that your components have to be drawn to that too. The schematic is just an abstract representation of the circuit. Precise location in space has no meaning. Locking wires to the grid and therefore having them look like they've connected but not really is (to me) bloody stupid. I feel they should: A/ Snap to nearest...

  All Google accounts and photos imported into Proton. I now have another problem... So far so good although Proton's photos interface seems very slow to go from low-res preview to full definition loaded. Also I had Google saving photos at lower than full resolution to save data. I'd like to keep this but I'd like not to have to think about it. Haven't found an auto button yet. #DeGoogle #Proton @protonprivacy
