@Niall@mastodon.nz Intriguing. I wonder what the ratio of the lowest gear is (I like hills).

@Niall@mastodon.nz looks like fun!! Clearly the n+1 rule applies. (the ideal number of bikes is always the number you already own (n) plus 1)

@Niall@mastodon.nz that does look awesome, a bike that you can get on and off of easily like a kick scooter. If they made an e-halfbike I'd be extremely interested in it as a commuter.

@Niall@mastodon.nz It certainly sounds weird to ride. I hope you find one to try. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3NeRXzYmHw

@Niall@mastodon.nz , I think it's a major work out machine and a very dangerous one at that. It's a good brand internal hub - I hope, like early ones, they don't start slipping anymore when getting older. The hub brake prevents head stands for less sensitive riders, though I'd prefer a three speed Shinano hub with a disc brake (cheaper as well). If the ~1k price on the web site is USD then it's highly overpriced and I would rather build one myself than ever buying one.
