As a Blind person you send me slices of the world I'd never otherwise have, insects, mushrooms, birds, cats, graffiti, landscapes, glimpses into your homes or your art, and not because you have to or are paid to, just cause you choose to.   Okay so does anyone else insert cotton swabs deep into your ear and experience transitory but intense bliss? I know it's wrong, and please don't distress me with examples of how, just let me savor the bliss. p.s. My Dr. always says my ears look great on the inside.

  2-2 Here's the reverse side image. I found this in my guitar case after busking today at my favourite subway station. Can anyone varify if the AI description is correct, and can anyone give me some context? What is this worth locally? What could it buy? I have a photo of the other side, but I don't know how to post more than one photo at a time. Ask for it if it would help. AI says the other side has the number 5 in the middle, and the number 12 around the edge. Thanks!

  Still sending out reader gratitude to whoever recommended The Everlasting, by Alex E Harrow. I finished it and it's still living in my head, appropriately considering the title and how the story unfolds. The recommender said something like, "speculative fiction, beautifully written." As a trailor and spoiler hater this was a perfect way to intrigue me, and it was all true. The audio book with two readers was a special treat.

  Part of me wants to take alt text for granted but I'm too old for that. Most of me still marvels at all the lovely folk who write descriptions of macro photos, insects, adorable cats, landscapes, birds, galaxies, and on and on. As a Blind person this truly is access like we've never had before, and that I never imagined. Thanks beautiful people, you're part of the resistance.

  Every time I'm navigating in the subway in Toronto and I find tactile indicaters at the top of staircases, the edges of subway platforms, and making straight, easy to follow lines down a centre platform, I feel seen, heard, visible, like my safety and experience of navigating the world matters. #TTC

  I'm sure this has been said a thousand times already, but following the Artimus coverage and hearing so many female voices was incredible. I've been following space stuff my whole life, and all the male voices for all those years just sounded the same, like sterile robots, no one I could relate to.
