I’m hoping to reach anyone who can help me make connections with the Public Relations or Media departments at the Canadian Space Agency. My colleague Audio Describer JJ Hunt and I have an idea for a description-rich podcast modeled on our 135 episode strong Talk Description to Me franchise. I’d love to work with the Canadian Space Agency to do a series of podcasts exploring astronomy and space exploration from a Blindness perspective. This approach may seem niche, but you might be surprised how engaging it can be even for a sighted listenership to experience familiar content from a different perspective. And for the Blind community, such a podcast series can offer previously unavailable access to visuals commonly offered to the sighted world.
