@RareBird15@allovertheplace.ca I use #Miniflux: https://miniflux.app. It's a web based fully accessible reader, it can be self-hosted, or you can pay $15 (14 euro) a year to use the instance the developer maintains, or you can use, for example, use some free Miniflux instance (Tweesecake used to have one but now it's not working for some reason). As for managing feeds, I categorize them. I also add podcasts because I don't like listening to podcasts in dedicated apps, I need my file that I post-process (increase speed, sometimes cut off intros-outros, sometimes raise volume).

Look for the TBKeys extension, which allows you to set keystrokes to, for example, jump to the next folder containing unread messages. As for finding feeds in web pages, I use to press ctrl+u, which opens the page source, then search for the string "rss", which will display any feed the page contains.

I use and recommend a selfhosted FreshRSS instance, but I’m unsure whether or not it plays nice in terms of accessibility. For finding feeds I mostly just look for RSS on websites that I come across. Another thing I did when moving to FreshRSS was using Feedly, a paid RSS reader with a free plan that I was using, to find some interesting sources and import those into FreshRSS. I also use Reddit RSS feeds for a few subs that don’t have a big enough audience outside of Reddit. Unread articles is no problem for me. I just have a very quick glance and then mark everything as read if there’s too much. After that I check it a few times per day, only check what seems interesting, and mark the rest as read again.

@RareBird15@allovertheplace.ca Miniflux is a good option. I use the self-hosted version, but they have a managed version if you prefer. You can categorize your feeds, or view each feed on its own, or view all your unread articles in one screen (this is what I do). Not an NVDA user, but it should be accessible with that screen reader. Are you on iOS? The Lire RSS client works with it flawlessly and is also what I use. There's an extension for Chrome that helps you to detect if there are any RSS feeds. This is the one I use. Hi Lanie, thanks for following. Your Bible reader looks interesting, I will try it when I have a moment. Here is a very basic rss feed web app (I'm not a real programmer but I like to try things out with help from Claude :) Load it in a browser to try. You can use www.RSSlookup.com to look up RSS feeds from a URL. BlindRSS does have its own feed search facility, as well. I've been using https://powrss.com/ lately but there are more like it out there. Usually searching for the term "RSS" on the homepage or a blog post or article of a site you're interested in usually helps find them. On sites like YouTube it's hidden in the page source (annoyingly).
