We, the undersigned, call on Toronto City Council to support Councillor Parthi Kandavel’s motion, Ensuring due diligence on data centres in Scarborough Southwest. STACK Infrastructure is seeking to expand its existing facility at 3650 Danforth Avenue into a 56-megawatt AI data centre. The site is surrounded by family neighbourhoods, and residents have raised serious questions about: Electricity demand and the capacity of the local power grid. Water consumption, water pressure and local infrastru...

Okay, my sighted folks, can you look at this Youtube video? Is the ramp really that bad? The hugest pro is that a ramp doesn't break, like so many elevators do in the TTC and then stay broken for months. This guy annoys me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nr67d5bJMLk

2 years ago, I bought some lego. Wife: Why would you buy that? Me: I like it, because I can conceptualize stuff with it. Wife: That's stupid. Meanwhile, wife is working on building a section of cabinets and whatnots in the house. She keeps saying: "I need to find a way of showing you what I want to do." Guess who is playing with Lego right now? Lololol! I win!

Ugh! I sometimes hate online recipes. 200 F for pork ribs sounds very high to me. We'll get there, it's only been like 5 hours. Grr!

Just realised that I have a presentation on Friday for blind people searching for accessibility jobs. Boy, won't they be disappointed. I'm totally going to have them participate, because, a talking head for an hour is so frigging boring. I mean, there's just so much you can say about eggs.

This software is fully accessible and free for a period of time.. We have all been there. You are sitting at your desk, working on your laptop or desktop computer, and you come across a QR code on a website, in a PDF document, or inside an email. What do you do? You reach into your pocket, grab your smartphone, unlock it, open the camera app, aim it at your computer screen, scan the code, and then... wait. Now the information is on your phone, but you need it on your computer. You end up emailin...

Lolol, just got it! Talk Forward, instead of Talkback? Clever! This new screen reader kicks arse. If you're coming from an iPhone, you'll feel at home. If you're an Android person, it sort of feels like Talkback, but with more bells and whistles. They've even implemented the rotor gesture. There's a braille keyboard and braille display support. Yay! So cool! You can find it here: https://app-suite.eu/talkforward

ViaRail's web site is becoming even more Captain obvious. Instructions found on a button: "Find booking, this selection will take you to next page and the focus will be moved to another element." No shit! Who would have known that this would happen? Ridiculous!

What if the Hitch Hikers guide to the Galaxy was written in Jive talk? Listen here, Jack, 'cause the Guide is layin' it down cold: a towel is the most heavy-duty, righteous piece of threads a space-hoppin' cat can ever own. It’s got more moves than a back-alley dice game. Check the scene: Keepin' it Chill: When you’re bouncin’ across those frosty moons of Jaglan Beta, you just wrap that cloth 'round your frame to keep the goosebumps at bay.
