@resuna It's a faze. [Ah, no! *head_explodes*]

@resuna Possible they meant it in the Star Trek sense? But I don't want to disrupt your point (in the Romulan sense).

@resuna don't get me started on "may" and "might". I give up on that one! "May" has become the default for "might"("It may rain tomorrow". )

@resuna Yes! One of my pet peeves. Dishonorable mention: "I buried the lead." Unless you are confessing to a criminal act against a performer, you mean "I buried the lede."

Unfazed: not affected by what happened Unphased: Starfleet Security needs more practice

@resuna yea, phase/faze confusion always tweaks me, but I expect the distinction to be gone a century from now. "faze" doesn't feel like an english word, it's a weird irregularity that isn't old enough or common enough to become normalized

@resuna Why get phased buy what's just a parsing faze?

@ohai, “I'm going to lay down in a moment.” “Good – this old pillow needs some new stuffing…”

@resuna Words with “z” in them are more fun, anyway.

@resuna Well, if you get tazed by a Tazer, wouldn't you get phased by a Phaser?
