  @hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I was so so disappointed when I heard they canceled Starfleet Academy! I do match that demographic you mentioned (straight white older dude) but my opinions have never aligned with what it seems the majority of them (us?) think. I thought it got off to a slowish start, but as the episodes started fleshing out the characters it was really getting me involved and caring about them. I thought the last couple of episodes were great! So boo on Paramount!

  Took my car to the dealer for a complimentary annual maintence today. They told me the cabin air filter was not covered and it needed to be replaced, they did show me a very dirty filter before asking if I wanted them to replace it. I agreed in the moment to the $117 cost. I think it was about 50% parts and 50% labor. But I've now looked it up, and it's an incredibly simple thing to replace and is a $20 part. So never again. #carRepair #cardealer

  @Xorky@mastodon.art A lot of people had issues with today's word and trouble getting it. The bot failed to get it today also. Personally I think it's a valid word but tough to get.

Just about time for dinner, I've got a couple of dishes I got from the Asian food court as H Mart (Crazy noodles w/ shrimp, and Beef Kra Pow) and I'll enjoy them while continuing w/ my rewatch of Veronica Mars (I'm in season 3 now).
