@MeanwhileinCanada@ohai.social I live roughly on the boundary between where we call it "T'ronno" and "Trawna" and I'm not sure I've ever heard it called "Trawno", the final vowel seems to shift before the initial phoneme cluster. (Also streets not under construction aren't completely mythical, I can usually find one or two every time I visit.)

@MeanwhileinCanada@ohai.social Trawno? That's just as wrong as the full three syllable name. Well, you can use it with foreigners and polite company, but I think of it more as Trawnah. Somehow, it's not even a full two syllables the way I've heard or used it.

Innit weird that we’re the only species regularly drinking the breastmilk of other species? — So regularly that we’ve created a whole farming industry around it? Soooo weird! Stoppit! 😅
