But I suppose, like photography, the expressive bit can come from the selection (which generated image the artist chooses to showcase?) - and from the instruction given to the agent. It leaves out the ritual and the joy of the process that can only come from making it by hand. In a world teeming with #AI images, the rare thing, the valued thing, will be the art made by the hand and conceived by the mind of a human being.
