  so yeah my Bitwig problem right now is i can stay on 5.3 with unfixed Linux workflow woes. but it lets me start projects on the laptop (Linux) and finish them on the desktop (macOS) with all my old plugins i can upgrade to 6.1 with 1 of 2 Linux issues fixed. but it requires AVX2, so the Mac is obsoleted and a big part of what makes up my sound is gone

  anyone using 1. #KDE Plasma 6 on #Wayland 2. display scale >100% 3. ideally a distro that is not NixOS and wanna help me test something? im trying to use #OpenUtau but i cannot get it to run at anything but 100% scale (tiny text). supposedly it should be possible to do AVALONIA_GLOBAL_SCALE_FACTOR=2 OpenUtau but it has no effect here. trying to figure out if its a NixOS specific problem or not #Linux

  #kdenlive Linux users: do you get actual 60 fps playback in the timeline? i have hardware acceleration enabled via VAAPI (Intel GPU), my project is set to 60fps, and i have tried original, transcoded-to-edit-friendly-format, as well as proxy clips. the fps overlay always says 60, but the playback is visibly more like 30. not a hardware issue, since Davinci Resolve Studio does 60fps without the system breaking a sweat
