Fuck, man. I don’t even know where to begin. This isn’t even about LLMs anymore. Casting aside human beings for their particular skills and experience is a fucking repulsive attitude.

@katiefenn what’s even more wild is that if the tools do what people are claiming (which IME they mostly do), then adopting the tools is actually trivial - and more so as they get better. But what they still lack is taste and direction - which is what skilled humans are needed for!

@katiefenn @PragmaticAndy And they have the gall to tell you with a straight face that’s what it means to be agile. Last decade it was Jira, now it’s LLMs, but in all cases there are fools who will confidently tell you the meaning of “people over process” = “You must follow my process” somehow.
