My mind is taking me to a scenario where they have to deliver a unanimous verdict on some guy who did a bad thing to a woman, which at the time was probably considered sort of okay by (patriarchal) society, but really wasn't.

Could it be the 'I Ching/ Book of Changes also being a forerunner of the Internet. Allegedly, Confucius exclaimed on his retirement, 'That he intended to devote all his thoughts to consulting, 'The I Ching'. Like Ludwig Witgenstien, Confucius did not waste his time with trivialities.
