You're also free to chew me out for not listing hamlets, suburbs, exurbs, municipalities, townships, favelas, unincorporated areas, villages, or whatever other human habitation centres you can think of in the question.

@evan@cosocial.ca Ottawa calls itself the shawarma capital of Canada, so there's that. There's also an Ottawa pizza style, which I find revolting, but it exists and is popular enough that this is what most of the local chains sell.
