You're also free to chew me out for not listing hamlets, suburbs, exurbs, municipalities, townships, favelas, unincorporated areas, villages, or whatever other human habitation centres you can think of in the question.

Also, you might not know that your town's signature dish is a signature dish! You might think everybody has grilled cucumber in chocolate sauce for breakfast or whatever. We don't! That's just your town!
