Are…are we still sure Donald Trump isn’t some sort of time traveler sent back to purposefully bring fascism into visibility and then destroy it politically in the US? Like…biggest concern among the public: cost of living and inflation. What does Trump do? Re-escalates the war with Iran causing the prices of gas and everything else to jump again. Then, on top of that, drops 50% tariffs on our most important trading partner and 10% tariffs on everyone else. This will drive up the price of everything even faster. Oh, and he’s fucking with the monetary system through his take over of the federal reserve, further fucking with the money and likely to be explode inflation even more. This feels tailor made to show the public in a very short time that fascism is deeply inept at economic policy and to invite the rise of democratic socialism in its place as the only public figures doing economic policies that will work. And then Trump also ties the fascist party to pedophiles via Epstein… Like, they are fascists, so they can just be this bad at everything, but still…this is impressively bad.

And then, come November, prove that despite being deeply unpopular, they can still retain both houses of Congress because gerrymandering and the Democrats being too inept to capitalize on their weaknesses. @JoscelynTransient@chaosfem.tw

@JoscelynTransient@chaosfem.tw yes and: if his goal was to smash global dependence on oil and forcibly shift the world to alternative methods of energy production by any means necessary… what would work better than starting a clusterfuck directly in all the shipping lanes of one of the main oil producing regions? like, that’s not the method I would choose, lots of people are gonna die, but also any government with two brain cells to rub together has got to be champing at the bit to beef up their renewable energy production
